Paterson, George Alexander, Deputy Police Chief (Ret’d) ~ Peacefully at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He is now reunited with his devoted wife and soul mate Jean (10/11/2013). Cherished father of Debra Raphael (Ernie) and Darryl (Susan). Proud grandfather of Aryeh, Racheli, Sari, Blake, Brandon, Jacklyn and Madison. Dear brother of Albert Paterson (the late Mary), May Avery (Bob) and brother in-law of Joan Elvy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, dear friends and aquaintances. George was a dedicated 33 year veteran with the Guelph Police Service.
