Obituary of Frank George Petty

Passed away suddenly at the Guelph GeneralHospital on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the age of 94. Proud father of Geraldine Booty (Gary Cartmell) of Brantford and Grant Petty (Barbara) of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Scott, Tiffany (Brian) and Taylor. Great grandfather of Jacob and Ravyn. Frank will be fondly remembered by many extended family members, his loving partner Doris Mills and her family, sisters in-law Shirley Petty of Cambridge, Leona Rolls of Grimsby and their families and many dear friends. Predeceased by his wife Edith Petty (Cook) (2007); brothers Edward and Roy and his son-in-law Douglas Booty. Frank was a WWII veteran with RCAF fire brigade at the training facility in Summerside, PEI. He was the first OPP officer to ride a motorcycle in district 6 and a long standing Probation and Parole officer in the City of Guelph until retirement. At Frank’s request, there will be no services.
