Obituary of Gregory Elliott

Elliott, Gregory Ronald The family of Gregory Ronald Elliott is saddened to share the news of his passing on Tuesday September 24, 2019. Greg was 37 years old. He is mourned by his parents Dr. Bruce and Brenda Elliott and his siblings Dr. Jenny Elliott (Scott Bardwell), James (Christy Johnson) and Daniel (Holly). His nephew Gavin and nieces, Sadie, Fiona and Eliza will miss their uncle Greg who often had candies just for them. Greg had been quietly suffering with bipolar disorder for the last few years. Sadly, he kept much of his fight with this illness to himself, so his passing will be a shock to many. The disorder is insidious, and Greg grew weary of struggling for a more peaceful and less tormented life. Greg was an accomplished electrician and took great pride in his work. He excelled at board games and loved playing video games and the guitar. His quick wit and tremendous vocabulary allowed Greg to be a very funny guy. Time spent with family and at the cottage, fishing, hiking and canoeing was treasured. Our sweet dog Chase was a gentle companion and a great comfort to him. Our world is a lesser place without him. Greg was a kind and thoughtful soul whom we loved and dearly miss. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday, October 20 at 2 p.m. at Victoria Park East Golf Club, 1096 Victoria Rd.
