Obituary of Mike Evans

Evans, Michael Daniel ~ It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Michael Evans on Monday January 13, 2020 at the age of 49 years. Mike is cherished by his three children, Marissa, Graham and James and by his loving parents, Janette and John and Keith and Ellie. He is survived by his siblings: Pam Evans, Charlene and Louis Buckley, Crystal Clark, Jonathan and Sophia Clark, Stacy and Donnie Kennedy, Allison and Frank Rendes; his nieces and nephews: Daniel, Sandra, Morgan, Owen, Kyrah, Ledger, Nathaniel, Cassidy, Mackenah, Madison, Abbigail, Emerson, Sydney, Shelby, Caitlyn and the late Alexandria; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike will be missed dearly by his companion Nicole Bastarache and her daughter Samantha and their fur babies, Willy and Charli and will be forever loved and missed by his children’s mom, Andrea Barrie. Mike enjoyed spending his time watching his boys play hockey as well as watching the Maple Leafs, going on long drives just to pick up fish in Tobermory or going to yard sales and shopping at the markets. For so many family dinners, he always made sure he was there with his famous roast in hand and for steaks on the open fire and beers at the trailer. He enjoyed the outdoors. You would see him floating down the Grand, doing gardening, making his grass perfect. Mike also enjoyed many family camping trips that included close friends. He was involved in pick up leagues, hockey and baseball and of course enjoyed a round of golf. He had a passion for woodworking and as a result many people have his creative pieces in their homes. The memories that give us the biggest smiles and laughs of Mike is picturing him dance around the entire dance floor, singing out loud to so many songs and stomping with his brothers and friends. He loved this line of a song "because you're mine, I walk the line."
