Veldman, Henry ~ Died peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Hendrick Cornelius Veldman at the age of 76. Beloved husband for over 56 years of Shirley (nee Breese). Loved father of Dawn Butler and Henry Veldman. Proud grandfather of Bradley, Wayne, Ashley, and Brian. Dear brother of Ann Hollar (George), Irene Saunders (Herb), Wilma Hudson (George), Bert Veldman (Michelle); and brother in-law of Alie Katerberg (Henk). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and the Breese families. Predeceased by his brothers John and Jack; sister Wiechertje; and granddaughter Sarah. The family will receive friends at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, January 30th from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
