Obituary of Tyler Reid
Reid, Tyler Ignatiaus
It is with immense sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Tyler Ignatiaus Reid on November 29, 2021 at the age of 29. Born in Sydney, NS but lived most of his life in Guelph, ON. Tyler will be greatly missed by his mother Alison (Brad), his sister Mallory (Jay), his nieces Addie and Harlow whom he adored, his beloved fur baby Harley, grandfather Buzz (Mary) and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tyler is predeceased by his father Reginald Reid and brother Stephen Burton. Tyler was an artistic soul who loved anything creative. He loved drawing and graphic design. He was forever pulling things apart just to put them back together again. Much like his father, he always had a way to fix something that was broken - even if it seemed impossible. He had a love for music of all kinds and could often be found listening to anything from rap to heavy metal. He had a passion for cooking and loved being in the kitchen.
Tyler had a special place in his heart for animals and children. He loved his dog Harley and his nieces more than he loved most things in life. Anyone who knows Tyler, knows that life was not always easy for him. He struggled for many years with multiple demons. There is comfort in knowing he is at peace now. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph.
