Stepfather of Timi Post (John), Craig Courtney, Ken Courtney, Ramona Halls (Ed) & the late Cheryl Courtney (2019). Pappy of Brandon, Ashlee, Asia, Michael, Demi, Taylor, Kyle, Tyler, Kearsten, Jenilee and Karla and many little ones. Survived by his brother Gino Pica (Guilana) and sister-in-law Gabriela Pica (Angiolino). Predeceased by his parents Camillo & Grazia Pica & many siblings. Missed by his best friend and bingo partner Larry and friends Rita and Vonda. Remo was born in Chieti Italy and came to Canada as a young man, settling in Guelph. He met Kitty in the early 70’s and they remained together until her passing in 2012. He worked at Owens Corning for many years and still has many friends from there. His love of cooking was legendary, to get invited to a full course Italian dinner was an event many looked forward to. He loved the Blue Jays & Maple Leafs and going downtown to Tony’s to play scopa. Hopefully there’s bingo in heaven with no witch’s sitting on his winning ball. Timi will miss the lunches but is happy he’s now enjoying them with Kitty again. Special thanks to the Guelph Fire, EMS and Guelph Police offices Nicholas Doner and Sgt. Connelly. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Marymount Cemetery at 12:00pm noon on Friday, April 14th followed by a celebration of life at Gilchrist Chapel-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Royal City Mission would be appreciated.
