Obituary of Earl Kenneth St. Jean

Passed away at the Elliott Community on March 6, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of Hannah for over 58 years. Proud father of Libby St. Jean (Dominic Mak) and David St. Jean (Muruvvet). Cherished grandfather of Hannah, Phillip, Rosie and Ecem. He will be missed by his brother Ernest (Evelyn) and former daughter-in-law Kim Osborne. Earl is predeceased by his siblings Edmund, Curtis, Irene, Louella, Siona, Christina and Patricia. He has had a wonderful career as both a teacher and a United Church Minister. Earl was remarkable, resilient, cheerful and always retained his impressive character. He believed all humans needed "affirmation" and he gave it freely. He was an example to us all. Friends may call at the Elliott Community Chapel, 170 Metcalfe Street, Guelph on Thursday, March 13th for a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions to Harcourt United Church or to CNIB would be appreciated.
