Joyce, Evelyn Bernadette It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyn Bernadette Joyce (Waters) on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at Hospice Wellington in her 88th year. She was the beloved wife of Robert Joyce for 69 years. Loving mother of Steven Joyce (Kim), Brian Joyce (Kathy), Ronald Joyce, Leeann Swallow (Dennis), David Joyce (Pam). Evelyn was the proud Nana of Rachelle Joyce, Dylan Joyce, Nicole Joyce, Graham Joyce, Ashley Joyce (Collin), Mandy Mulder (Tom), Corey Swallow, Janine Swallow, Amy Kress (Jonathan), and Matthew Joyce. Great grandma to Rohan, Myelle, Jaelyn, Logan, Carson, Liam, Arya, and Belamy. Evelyn will be fondly remembered for her generosity and kindness she spread throughout her years, whether it be helping family with big or little tasks, in her career and in the community. She will be missed for her quick wit and banter with Bob. We will forever cherish the many handmade items she crafted for each of us. A memorial service will be held at the Gilchrist Chapel McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (519-824-0031) on Tuesday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Wellington.
