Matthews, Raymond Laurence ~ At the Haliburton Hospital, on Saturday September 28th, 2013. Beloved husband for 47 years of Sharon (Simpson) Matthews. Loving father of Jeff (Fayme) of Bothwell and Dave (Jenn) of Guelph. Proud "Grumpy" of Jonathan, Jocelyn, Caitlyn, Raymond, Luke, Eric, Kyla and great grandson Anthony. Dear brother of Judy Smith of Waterloo, England. Ray was a Past Master of Speed Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 180 G.R.C., a Member of North Entrance Lodge No. 463, Past Patron of Rundle Chapter No. 108 O.E.S. and Past Patron of Kawartha Chapter No. 312. He was a member of the King William Soccer Team during the 1960’s and will be remembered by the 1st Guelph Rovers (St. James) and the 11th Guelph Rovers.
