Obituary of Ronald Harvey Pinson

From Guelph, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 79. After almost two years from the day of losing his beloved wife Vera, Ron has gone to join her. Father of Ron (Kieran), Valerie Pavey (Stephen), Jeff (Dawn) and Nancy Deason (Douglas). Grampa to 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ron is survived by his sisters; Joy Reed, Barbara Kueber and Candy Crawford, by in-laws Bill Bell and Carol Warne and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was a recipient of the Silver Acorn Award from Scouts Canada. He will be remembered for his 45 years in scouting and the many lives which he touched. Funeral service at the Guelph Salvation Army, 1320 Gordon St. on Wednesday, December 17 at 7 p.m. with visitation beginning at 6 p.m. Family will have a private Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
