Obituary of Gordon Stacey

Stacey, A. Gordon ~ Peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph on Thursday February 5, 2015. Gord Stacey at the age of 92 years. Husband of the late Adelaide "Craig" Stacey (2013). Beloved father of Wally (Carol) of Nottawa and the late Rachel Dixon (Ted Wells) (2013). Loving grandfather of Wallace, Jennifer Birch (Chris), Valerie Harrington (Patrick); great grandfather of Parker and Caleb. Sadly missed by his sister June McKay of Oro Station and many nieces and nephews. Gordon was a Veteran of WWII as a navigator with the RCAF and a retired General Manager of Guelph Hydro. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday February 17th at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The War Amps or the Village of Riverside Glen would be appreciated.
