Delta Marion Laine Ninety-eight years have come and gone Rain has poured and the sun has shone On a woman whose strength has pulled a family through Moved us on and guided us to chapters anew Leading young hands and shaping minds With gentle, humorous ways ever so kind Lessons taught about family, self-worth and love Values, wisdom and help from above It is time for us now to think and reflect On a life well lived, an example we all respect Our rock, confidante, our wise Grannie dear In our hearts and our souls, we’ll always have you near… With great sadness the family announces the death of Delta Marion Laine on January 26, 2015, at 97 years young. Delta is predeceased by her husband Harvey (Arvi), sisters Margaret and Jean and son Barry. Lovingly remembered by daughter and son-in-law Barbara & Bill Sweet, grandchildren Maija & Chad Michell, Andrew Sweet & Christina Macoretta, Crystal Laine & Ben Bundle, Michelle & John Capobianco, great-grandchildren Bree & Reid Michell, Nadia Sweet, Sam & Zoe Bundle and niece Carol and family.
