Obituary of David Evans

Evans, David Michael ~ Passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Patricia *Pat* Sampson Evans. Loved father of Stephen of Portland, Oregon and Dennis Evans of Victoria BC. Fondly remembered by Pat’s children: Darlene Sampson of Toronto, Doug (Ann) Sampson of Guelph, David Sampson (Darrell Skilton) of Toronto and Deborah (Tom) Jones of Port Moody, BC. Proud grandfather of Natica, Theo, Noelle, Ezekiel, Tabitha, Mackenzie, Liam, Connor and great grandfather of Royce. Dear nephew of Marjorie Clark; brother in-law of Polly Evans; uncle of Sean Evans and of many nieces, nephews. Predeceased by his brother Paul. David was a proud retired teacher of Computer and Electronics at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus. Tuesday, November 8th from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Crestwicke Baptist Church, 400 Speedvale Ave. E. Guelph on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. The family will greet friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment at Johnson/Eramosa Union Cemetery following reception.
