Branigan, Douglas Gordon ~ Suddenly, at home in Guelph on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 72. Loved father of Tracey of Hamilton, Michael (Lucia) of Guelph, Zoe Branigan-Pipe (Brad) of Hamilton and Corinne of Toronto. Proud Grandpa of Jennifer (Karan), Danna (Chris), Dylan, Simon (Sarah), Jackson and Nathan, and of great granddaughter Allie. Brother of Carol, Debbie, Maureen, Larry, Jimmy and the late Bob. Doug will be remembered by a large extended family; many nieces, nephews; his strong family unit at MacDonalds Marina in Hamilton; and as an accomplished artist, brilliant woodworker and community activist in the Hamilton area. The family will host an open house celebrating Doug’s life at the Macassa Bay Yacht Club, (MBYC), 80 Harbour Front Drive, Hamilton, on Thursday, February 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sharing of memories will commence 7:00 p.m. If desired, donations to Mission Services of Hamilton, 325 James Street North, Hamilton ON O8L 7W2 would be appreciated.
