Anastasakos, Dimitrios "James". Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the age of 95 years. Beloved husband of Vasiliky Anastasakos. Loving father of George Anastasakos and Tom Anastasakos. Cherished grandfather of Anthony James Anastasakos. Survived by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his two sisters and one brother. James worked hard all of his life and was the proud owner of Jimmy’s Lunch, Tasty Pizza and Highway Host. He was a car enthusiast and was very supportive and dedicated to the founding of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Guelph. Friends may call at the Gilchrist Chapel-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street (at Eramosa Road), Guelph on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 50 Dovercliffe Road, Guelph on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
