Obituary of Dorothy Dempsey

Dorothy Ann Dempsey (Patterson) in her 79th year, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3 at Guelph General Hospital with caring people by her side. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Dempsey (2019), Mother of LeeAnn and the late Larry (1989), grandmother of 3 grandchildren, and sister of Barb (Eric) Woodland. Dorothy will be missed by her caregivers Gordon & Wilma Tosh, Ben Tinholt, Debbie Dempsey & Steve Robinson and Joyce Barnes. Dorothy’s joys in life were cooking, gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting and watching curling on TV. She loved decorating her home for every holiday... a true Martha Stewart. A private interment of Ron & Dorothy’s ashes will be held at a future date in spring. If desired donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital or Guelph Special Olympics.
