Obituary of James Clarence Bigam

Passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the age of 75. "Jim" was the beloved husband and best friend of Elaine for over 51 years. Dear father of Lisa Bigam (Joe Contini) and Kim Bigam (Rochelle Christie). Proud Grandpa of Megan, Molly and Sara Contini. He will also be missed by Kyle, Lauren and Cameron MacFarlane. Jim is survived by siblings; Ronald (Ruth Anne), Gordon, Elsie Dunn and sister-in-law, Shirley and their families. He will be remembered as a supportive, dedicated grandfather, having spent many hours cheering at minor hockey and baseball games. He thoroughly enjoyed his teaching career, as well as gardening, curling and playing cards. At Jim’s request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
