Protz, Diane Christine ~ Diane Christine Protz, a life-long resident of Guelph, died at home unexpectedly on May 2, 2015 at the age of 47. Diane was the wife of Michael (loving husband of 23 years) and devoted mother of Lauren (aged 10). Predeceased by her cherished father Louis Busatto and father-in law Richard. Beloved daughter of Carol Ann and daughter in-law of Ollie. Loving sister to Michael (Cathy), Peter (Darlene), and Susan (Mark Paoli). Dear sister-in-law to Maria (John Marcocchio), Teresa, Diana (Tim May), Stephen, Katherine (Michael Macnaughton), and Alexandra (Nicholas Devine). Loving aunt to Brittany and Julia, Andrew, Marissa and Stephen, Renée Aziz, Teresa Smith, Emily and Matthew May, Madeline and Luke, Annalise, Cael and Samuel. Diane excelled in her professional career in medical diagnostic imaging, and was a gifted piano player with many creative talents. She dearly loved all of her nieces and nephews, and had a deep belief in family. Diane will be sadly missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
