Obituary of Malcolm Poole

Poole, Malcolm Robert "Mac" ~ Peacefully, at Grand RiverFreeportHospital, on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Doreen (Worthington) Poole. Loving father of Bonnie (Jim Armstrong) and Barbara Gaudette both of Guelph. Proud grandfather of Emily (Mike Atkinson), Matthew Armstrong (Samantha McDowell) and Tyler Gaudette; great grandfather of Maelle. Dear brother of Christine Holford (Eric) of Guelph; uncle of Jacqueline and John; and great uncle of Oceania and Lazarus. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Walter from England. Mac was born in Stoke-on-Trent England, lived in Guelph for many years and retired in Kincardine. He was a superintendant for Len Ariss Construction for 25 years before founding Mac Poole construction. Mac was an avid soccer player and fan and also known for his fondness of darts and table tennis. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph , Wednesday, August 19th from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
