Obituary of James Scott "Jim" Nicol

December 10,1952 - September 18, 2015. Jim successfully battled colon cancer since 2008 but suddenly lost his battle and passed away peacefully, with his family at his side. Jim was the beloved son of the late Russell James Nicol (1975) and Lyla May Nicol nee Burns (1999). Loved brother of Bonnie, Donna (John) Sartori, Linda (Virginio) Montin, Juanita (Chris) Harrison, Margaret Campbell, David (Nancy), Robert and the late Violet Ledgerwood (1994). Jim was a special uncle, with endless patience and full of facts to share with his many many nieces and nephews. He was an avid sports fan and carried on his Dad's passion for hockey and the Chicago Blackhawks. Private family burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend John Borthwick officiating. Special thank you to the caring staff and nurses in the chemotherapy clinic at the GGH.
