Heather, Glen Charles
Passed away with grace and in peace on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Guelph General Hospital at the age of 52 years. This most brave and courageous man will be remembered with love by his wife, Janie Bennett and son, Cullen. He was the much loved son of Patricia and David Heather, and mother-in-law Jeannie Crockwell. Glen was the dear brother of April Elmes (Rich) and brother-in-law of Jack Bennett. He is also fondly remembered by his aunt Donna Franklin, aunt Laura Bowman (Tony), niece: Danielle Elmes and nephews: Jacob Elmes, Thomas Bennett, and James Bennett. Glen had a great love for music. He played guitar and drums by ear. He looked forward to the fishing trips he took with his grandparents and aunt Donna and had wonderful adventures to share with his family and friends. He was active with Boy Scouts for many years alongside of his son Cullen. He also loved baseball and had many buddies and close friends he shared his passion with. He and Janie made many friends through the years with the NCHA (National Campers & Hikers Association). Glen introduced the hobby of Geocaching to many, and spent many memorable adventures with Cullen and others. Glen had a wonderful career with Radio Shack and PowerLine Electronics for over 30 years. He was a self-taught computer and technology wizard. He started and successfully created Charles Dunhill Digital Productions, helping many enjoy the treasured memories of family and friends forever.
