It’s with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph McLaughlin on Monday, September 14, 2026.  He passed away at Hospice Wellington, in Guelph, Ontario, at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Dianne for 41 years.  Loving father to Jason Burke (Sharron), and Stuart Burke (Heather).  He will be missed by his grandchildren, Marissa and Gabriel Burke.

Predeceased by his brother, John McLaughlin (Hazel) in 2005.  Survived by his sisters Rosemary Elliott (Millar) and Cindy Marchant (Paul). 

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and everyone who knew him. A special thank you to the neighbours on Clarke Street for watching over Tom and Dianne over the years!

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi St., Guelph, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

A funeral service will begin in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm, followed by an interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Guelph.

Thank you, Hospice Wellington, for the care and comfort Tom received in his final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
