Obituary of Faye Evelyn Woods

Faye Evelyn Woods (née Dearborn), 72, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2026, while
camping. She was born on February 3, 1954, in Toronto to William and Mae Dearborn.
On October 18, 1975, she married David Woods; together, they raised two children and
shared 50 years of marriage. She touched the lives of countless children and colleagues in her career as an
Educational Assistant with the Upper Grand District School Board. After retirement, she
enjoyed spending her time camping, hiking, and kayaking with David, and cherished
time with her five grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Meghan (Mark) van Asseldonk,
and their children, Luke, Peter, Isaac, and Evelyn Anne; and her son, Jason (Chris)
Woods, and their child, Cassandra George (Cigi).

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
