Obituary of Shirley Jean Miller

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Shirley Jean Miller of Delhi, Ontario. She left us peacefully on June 24, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on October 25, 1938, in Dundas, Ontario to Carl and Elizabeth Lehman. She attended Galt Collegiate Vocational institute where she met her high school sweetheart Larry Miller (2025). They married in 1958 and shortly thereafter settled into their new home in Guelph, Ontario where she proudly worked as a medical secretary until her retirement at 65.

Shirley is survived by her children Alan (Diane) and Laura (Carlo) and grandsons Tyler, Jaiden and Madden and many extended family members and friends. Shirley will be remembered by all who knew and loved her for her warm smile and generous spirit.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at PeopleCare Delhi LTC for the exceptional care, compassion and support shown to Shirley during the past year.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday July 4th at the Brombal Funeral Home located at 1 Delhi St, Guelph Ontario.
