The earth lost a most beautiful soul on the rainy morning of June 14, 2026.

Norine Marconi, 96, of Guelph, passed away at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, surrounded by her cherished daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Colin Crombie. Wife of Florio for 61 years until his passing (2015).

Mom was caring, loving, fun, feisty, independent and oh-so-stylish. Hair and nails were always done and the more bling, the better. Mom was also very social and played league bowling well into her senior years. She loved the casino, watching Blue Jays baseball and listening to her music. A die-hard night owl, you could find her watching her favourite old movies well into the wee hours. And let’s not forget her passion for jewellery and shopping, and shopping for jewellery!

But most of all, her favourite place to be was anywhere with me and my husband. Mom, I wish peace and rest to you, the best friend I’ll ever have.

Private cremation and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph as per family’s wishes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, or your local Humane Society.
