Obituary of Alfonso Trevisan

TREVISAN, Alfonso.

Passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the age of 89 years.  Beloved husband of Theresa Stradiotto. Survived by sisters-in-law Eleanor Lorfing and Anna Cocchio, niece Carla Johnson, nephew Nathan Trevisan and nieces and nephews in Australia.  He will be forever missed by many friends, especially Bill Damaren.  Predeceased by his first wife Arleen.

Alfonso was known as an honest and sincere gentleman. He arrived in Canada in 1958 and lived amongst the Guelph Italian community where he became a friend to many and started a new chapter in his life.

Private funeral services were held at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph followed by entombment at Marymount Cemetery.
