Obituary of Pamela Leaman

LEAMAN, Pamela (nee Smith)

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the age of 81, with her family by her side.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Beverley Smith; her first husband, Victor Leaman; and her second husband, Ronald Charbonneau. She is the cherished sister of Marilyn Yates (Ken) and the loving mother of David and Carolyn (Steve). "Grandma Pam" will be missed by her grandsons Ryan (Erin), Kevin, and Kory, and her great-grandchildren Kinley and Declan. She is also fondly remembered by Ron’s children—Andre, Jill, Dennis, Kim, Belinda, and Vince—along with 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre (Alzheimer’s Day Program and 2 North) for their exceptional care, and her dear friends Debbie and Margie for their lifelong friendship.

In accordance with Pam’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB or the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
