Obituary of Clifford Andrew Muller
Clifford Muller (June 26, 1927- March 16, 2026) Passed peacefully at home in his 98th year. Devoted husband of 76 years to the love of his life, the late Jean Muller. Proud father of Rick Muller (Linda). Cherished Grandfather of Rodney (Hanae) and Brian (Natasha). Great Grandpa of Sara.
Born and raised in Guelph with his siblings (Charlie, Ross, Harold, Bob, Gertrude, Ruth and Annabelle). He joined the Canadian Armed Forces Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps in 1944. After the war, he worked for Harlock Schultz as an electrician before finding his career at the Guelph Co-op as the electrical/mechanical senior technician.
With a fierce intellectual curiosity, he was constantly reading to keep up with the latest technology. As a leader of the local Boy Scouts, he set the example of resilience and self-reliance. As a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, he was always ready when work needed to be done, and a good friend. He loved his wife’s brilliant cooking, a good game of golf, camping and a spot of fine whiskey or even finer maple syrup.
He was a rock in hard times and a fountain of thoughtful insight and advice. His quiet thoughtful way, his clever sense of humour and shrewd insights will be greatly missed.
In keeping with Cliffs wishes, cremation has taken place and ashes will be scattered at a later date with family at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
