Obituary of Joyce Elizabeth Baranski

BARANSKI, Joyce Elizabeth. Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 89 years.  Dear mother of Brad Taylor (Lorrie) of McKellar, Tania Taylor of Guelph and Jacob Baranski (Carissa) of Oakville. Loving grandmother of Brianna, Heather, Devon, Meagan, Olivia, Ava and Jack and cherished great grandmother of Madeline, Noah, Scarlett, Mason and Halima.  Survived by her sister Marlene Hutchison (Gerard), sister -in- law Dorrie Wagner and her son-in-law Peter McFarlane.

 Also survived by Sharon, Robert, Carol and John Baranski and their families who she cared for deeply.

Predeceased by her daughters Debra Taylor and Tracey McFarlane, parents Roy and Dorothy Hartman and brother Ron Hartman

Joyce was a long-time member of the Guelph Country Club and a long-time volunteer at River Run Centre.  She was a proud 25-year member of AA and enjoyed visiting many countries as she travelled the world.

 Relatives and friends will be received for visitation at the Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Reception will follow at the Guelph Country Club.

 In memory of Joyce, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
