Bonnie McAfee (Pike)

Obituary of Bonnie McAfee (Pike)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bonnie (Yvonne) Pike at the age of 54, who was surrounded by her loving family, at Hospice Wellington on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Born in Toronto on January 9, 1972, Bonnie was a warrior who fought to protect and care for her family and friends with all her might until the end. She brought a light to this world that touched everyone around her. She loved fiercely, quietly, and without condition. Anyone who knew Bonnie would have seen her passion for her family was as strong as her passion for her animals. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, strength and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Loving mother of sons Daniel (Aiden, Payton) and Damon, daughters Jade and Echo McAfee and Rebecca Sine (Lukas, Parker, Charlotte, Layla and Kora). Predeceased by her son Hunter Blaze McAfee. Cherished daughter of Douglas and Marilyn Pike, and dear sister to Sherry (Steve, Sarah), Shane (Brooke, Jade, Shawn), and Kristopher Pike (Cindy, Brianne, Shannon, Jessica), we will miss you always. Loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and an important friend to many.

A heartfelt thank you to the care team at Hospice Wellington for making Bonnie’s final days peaceful and comfortable, to the many PSWs who supported her over the past six years, and to Dean Brombal and his team for all they have done for our family at the end of Bonnie’s journey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi St., Guelph.

Online tributes and condolences can be made at www.brombal.ca

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Bonnie’s honour to one of the following: Hospice Wellington: https://www.hospicewellington.org/ or an Animal rescue of your choice.
