Obituary of Roderick Stuart Whitting

Roderick peacefully passed away at Hospice Wellington in Guelph at the age of 93. 

Devoted husband of Norma, a 69 year marriage rich in memories and laughter. Much loved father to Douglas Whitting (Dorothy), Steven Whitting, Lesley Rawlings (Robert) and Keith Whitting (Anne). Proud grandfather of Ashley, Kyle, Kayla and Andrew; and step-grandfather of Melissa, Dylan and Shannon. Cherished by many great-grandchildren.

Roderick enjoyed a long career as a construction inspector. For those who knew Roderick, whether the project was big or small, he was there with his trusty hammer and expertise, making memories with family and friends.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
