Obituary of Constantin Ghigeanu

GHIGEANU, Constantin “Chris”

Passed away unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the age of 57 years.  Chris was a loving son to the late Maria Maldovan and late Ion Ghigeanu; dear brother of George Ghigeanu (Bibi) of Romania and the late Michael Ghigeanu. Chris will be deeply missed by his many friends.

Funeral mass will be held at the Romanian Orthodox Church, St. John the Baptist, 2150 Bleams Road, Kitchener on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 1:30p.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery following the service.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Romanian Orthodox Church St. John the Baptist would be sincerely appreciated.
