Obituary of John Ustation

USTATION, John.

August 12, 1931 – February 15, 2026

Passed away peacefully at the Elliott Community.  Predeceased by his first wife Ethel Carlaw and his second wife Bev (Brydges) Izzillo.  Predeceased by his daughter Laura Dawn Ustation,by his brother Stephan and his sister Jeannette Steinberg.  Survived by his sister Olga Tombs, daughter Lynn Wright and grandchildren Stephanie, Darren and Devon Wright, stepdaughter Lynda French and her children Jennifer and Tyson French.

Thank you to Dr. Kennedy and all the amazing staff at the Elliott Community for all your compassion and understanding towards the excellent care of John.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any Senior at Risk program or the Guelph Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
