With deep love and immeasurable sorrow, we announce the passing of our dearest Michał Grzegorz Szczypka.

He passed away suddenly in Guelph on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the age of 41.

Beloved husband of Ewa and devoted father to Weronika and Dominik. Cherished son of Barbara and the late Andrzej. Michał will be deeply missed by his siblings Szymon, Paulina, and Maciek; his uncle Zbigniew and aunt Mariola; and all of his amazing friends.

Michał is now reunited with his father Andrzej, his grandparents Józef and Anna, and his beloved dog Harley.

Michał’s loss will be profoundly felt by all who knew him. He was an extraordinary, selfless man with a vibrant presence who naturally lit up every room he entered. His sense of humour brought laughter and joy to those around him. He was dedicated to his career as a truck driver and found freedom and happiness riding the open roads on his motorcycle with his friends in his spare time. Michał will be remembered as an amazing person—truly one of a kind.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 5:00–8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma Street, Guelph, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Marymount Cemetery.
