Obituary of Julijana Biro
In Loving Memory of Julijana Biro
October 31, 1951 – November 14, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Julijana Biro, who left us suddenly on November 14th, 2025, at the age of 74.
Born in Serbia and proud of her Hungarian roots, Julijana built a life filled with love, family, and tradition. She came to Canada over 25 years ago, worked at Linamar, and after retiring spent her time doing what she loved most — being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Julijana was the beloved wife of the late Janos Biro, and the loving mother of Erne (Krisztina) and Robert (Mary Joy). She was a devoted and joyful grandmother to Naomi, Beatrix, Nicolette, and Tas, and a delighted great-grandmother to little Lucy, who brought her endless happiness.
Predeceased by her parents, Maria and Vince Toldi, Julijana is also remembered by many siblings, as well as, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She had a good sense of humor and was full of life. She loved plants and gardening, cooking Hungarian dishes, and travelling and exploring all over the world. She never said no to an invitation — if you asked her to come, she showed up, ready to share food, stories, and laughter. She especially loved attending Hungarian events, keeping her culture alive and close to her heart.
Her legacy lives on in the kindness she shared, the traditions she passed down, and the family she held together with her warmth, her laughter, and her endless care.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
