Uncle Jim you will be missed but not forgotten . Your quick wit and ever present smile brought joy to all who knew you . Your Saturday visits with Aunt Susan to my parents house were the highlights of my Dad's weeks . What a joy it was to see the four of you together even as age and illness caught up with my parents and Susan . You can join them once again . Rest in Peace Uncle Jim .♥️ James Donaghy and family

Uncle Jim was a great friend to my dad and beloved uncle to me. He was a caring and kind gentleman with a great sense of humor. We immigrated to Guelph because he and my Aunt Susan and June came there first. They lived across the street from my parents. They figure fondly and prominently in my many childhood memories and beyond. My condolences to the family in Guelph and region. He will truly be missed.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Jim. Our paths only crossed a few times over the years, but it was always great chatting with him at the family weddings. To paraphrase an old Glasgow song that comes to mind - My Uncle Jim was a fireman bold; he put out fires. He was almost 89 years old; he put out fires. Wherever he is he'll be alright; he puts our fires. Graham & Liz McIntosh.
