Obituary of Roberto Antonio Silveri

SILVERI, Roberto.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roberto 'Bob' Silveri in Guelph, Ontario on 06 September 2025. Cherished father of Francesco, father-in-law of Mary, husband of the late Gina Silveri, beloved brother and brother-in-law, loving uncle and friend, Roberto was born and raised in Italy, moving to Canada in the 60s. He lived and worked in Guelph, and at W.C. Woods, making a lifetime of friendships with his co-workers.  After his retirement, he became a City of Guelph Patrol Officer at St. Patrick's Catholic School, always excited to invite 'his kids' over to make pizza, pasta, cookies, and eat authentic Italian food with his wife Gina.

He is missed by his dear friends and family, and his legacy will live on in our hearts and through to eternity.  His nieces and nephews will remember him for his imagination, enthusiasm for life, and for creating the best secret Club House for all the kids on the street.

A Funeral Mass of Resurrection to celebrate Roberto's life and faith will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Wednesday September 10th at 10:30am. Visitation to pay respects to Roberto will begin at 9:30am, before the funeral services.
