Frank Sgrignoli June 15, 1950 – July 4, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Sgrignoli on July 4, 2025, at the age of 75.

Frank was a quiet and gentle soul who had a deep love for simple things—friendly conversation and the comfort of a familiar routine. He was intelligent, with a warm sense of humour. A thoughtful listener with a remarkable memory for names, stories, and details. He had a way of picking up a conversation exactly where it had left off.

In his younger years, Frank found joy in being active and spending time outdoors. As time went on, Frank faced many personal challenges and spent years finding his way through difficult circumstances. Later in life, with support and stability, he found more peace. He reconnected with his daughters and created space for moments of joy and meaningful time together—memories that will always be treasured. 

As a father, Frank had a playfulness that often revealed itself in small, everyday moments. He had a way of turning ordinary days into little adventures, creating games and laughter that his daughters still remember fondly. He recently shared, raising his girls was the best time of his life. 

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Amanda (husband Ryan DiCecca) and Jessica Sgrignoli (fiancé Thomas Maltman), and his former spouse, Anna Sgrignoli. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Gina (Finoro) and Luigi Sgrignoli, his brothers, Arnold and Bart Sgrignoli, and his nephew, Lenny Sgrignoli. He is also remembered with love by his sisters-in-law, niece, nephew, and extended family.

Frank will always be remembered for his warmth, resilience, and the quiet ways he showed he cared. A visitation and celebration of life will be held to honour Frank’s memory on Wednesday, July 9 at Brombal Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph (visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., ceremony at 2:00 p.m.).
