GOY, Myrna Ruth

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Myrna Goy announce her passing, peacefully at the Elliot Community on May 15, 2025 at the age of 85.

Myrna was a Registered Nurse, whose choice of career provided her with the independent life she was so proud of, as well as a network of friends that she maintained going back to her nursing school days.

Myrna is survived by her brother Fred Goy, her nieces Heather Macneil and Karen Biggs, her nephews John Goy, Scott, David, Paul and Michael Hopkins.  Myrna will also be missed by great nieces and nephews as well as a Great-great niece and nephew. She is predeceased by her parents John and Mollie Goy, her brother Jack (Grace) Goy, her sister Sally (late Bruce) Hopkins and her niece Sandra Goy.

Myrna was a kind, thoughtful person. Anyone whose life she touched was better off for it. She will be greatly missed.

For those who wish, donations in Myrna's honour to the Heart and Stroke would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in her memory at the Arboretum Memorial Forest.

Cremation has taken place.
