Obituary of Brian John Hanna

HANNA, Brian John

Passed at his home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Beloved son of the late William E Hanna (d. 1999) and Ingrid Hanna (Alf Rodger & his son Jeff); dear brother of Joanne, Larry (Brenda), twin brother Bruce (Linda), Sandra, Kevin (Cindy), Ken (Shelan), and Shawn (Beth); father of Dustin Hanna & his family. Brian will be deeply missed by his many nieces & nephews and extended family; by his many friends and former colleagues at TC Industries; and by Deborah Kelloway, Neil Nuttley, Brad Evans and Trevor. Brian loved Nascar, he loved playing billiards and fishing with his friends. On Brian’s hand is a bird tattoo that matches that of his father’s tattoo, it is a comfort to know that those bird tattoos are now flying together.

The family would like to thank all the Guelph Police and Paramedics for all their kindness and support. As we move forward with the recent loss of our dear Mother Ingrid Hanna and brother Brian Hanna, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 11:00 -2:00 at the Guelph Curling Club 5-816 Woolwich St, Guelph N1H 6J2. Followed by a Graveside Service at 2:30pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich Street, Guelph.
