Through a friend of the Brass where I am now retired from, I found out about the passing of John. Last time I saw him was when we were both at the Cambridge Brass picket line (2024) supporting the workers. It was a Sunday. He left and hopped in his truck. I was driving behind him and watched him make a turn towards the country. We talked occasionally at work, as we both worked at opposite ends of the shop. He will be remembered by all that knew him. My condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences and thoughts to John`s family. I had the pleasure of working with John and getting to know him , he was always good to me, we created a friendship, I know he loved college football, Notre Dame was his team , mine is Michigan, last time we talked, tex actually was back in January Notre Dame had just beat Penn State and would meet a team we both hated Ohio State for National Championship, I was so happy for John , thought this would be the year, he was excited to , unfortunately Notre Dame lost, I know he liked New York Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, John made me laugh a few times during football season after a Cowboys loss how much he hated the QB Dak
