Lucille Turner

Obituary of Lucille Irene Turner

With sadness and gratitude for a peaceful passing, Lucie was welcomed into heaven and into the loving arms of her parents Harvey & Irene, and her brother Harold at the age of 82.

Loving sister of Darlene, Corrine and Lynn. Aunt of Julie, Norman, David (Dianne), Shawn, Trevor (Amanda), Jessica (Mark), Brandon (Sydney), Paul (Mia) and Scott (Dwayne). She was a Great Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucie was a valued employee of the University of Guelph, manager of the Parking Administration, for 34 years. Family dinners, reunions and fishing was a favourite part in her life.

Don’t weep at my grave
for I am not there
I have a date with a butterfly
to dance in the air
I will be singing
in the sunshine, wild and free
Playing tag with the wind
while I am waiting for thee

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington, for their kindness and compassion during Lucie’s stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Hospice and St. Joseph’s Health Centre would be appreciated.
