Dear Patricia and Family: Wendy and I are deeply saddened and sorry at the passing of you beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and family member, Doug. Our heartfelt condolences, and prayers go out to your family, and to all of those who knew and loved, Doug. I had the please of knowing him, and playing fastball with Doug in our younger years. Not only was he an excellent athlete and player but an even better teammate. Always upbeat, and fun to be around. I can honestly say that I never heard a bad word against Doug when I played with him.
