Dear Kay, and Family. We are so very saddened and sorry at the passing of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ken. We have fond and wonderful memories of when Ken coached our daughter, Beth, on the U-12 girls soccer team. He was so very patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the game, which he passed on to the girls. Ron vividly remembers when Ken removed Ron from the sidelines when Ron was yelling at the referee, and Ken ordered him to sit behind the restrooms. or leave the park. LOL! We also looked forward to seeing Ken's father, Hector, who was visiting from Scotland. He was such a sweet man. Thank you so much, for sharing Ken with us parents, and our girls. He was a wonderful coach, family man, and mentor. God bless him, and everyone in your family. Most sincerely, Ron and Wendy Asselstine

Our sincere condolences to Kay and her wonderful family in the passing of Ken. Our friendship flourished even more with our 20 years of wintering with Kay and Ken in Myrtle Beach. Ken and Mike would go out golfing at 6 am (Ken ready and waiting by 5:30) when temperature barely hit 40f.... trying to kid themselves it really wasn't the same as a Canadian 40f can't be as we are in Sunny Carolina! Ken will be missed as a fun loving friend someone always there to help anyone out.

Our sincere Condolances to Ken's family. We have been friends for 46 years since they came to Guelph and Ken was our son Anthonys coach the first time Ken coached soccer here. We have been good friends through thick and thin ever since.
Lots of good memories of parties and gatherings. Ken will be sorely missed.
God bless Kay.

Condolences to the entire family and especially to my godmother Kay. I always had fond memories of Ken, especially at my parents New Years Eve parties when I was younger. He was the only one with black hair left and got the honor of being the first one in the house on Jan 1. He was a wonderful man. I am so sorry for your loss.
