I worked with Peter at Flowserve for all his time there. When Peter came on board in our Manufacturing Engineering department, he was able to come up with the what could be described as the holy grail solution to our most complex and most important machine program problem where so many had failed before. Normally that would be probably be the number one reason you would like the guy, but I have to say it was always a breath of fresh air whenever you met up with him. Funny, down to earth, optimistic, ... I can go on but I'm sure your family already knew and took pleasure in all the positive energy that came from Peter. I was truly saddened when I heard the news and even having not seen Peter since the end of Flowserve Brantford, I still feel as if I have lost a good friend. Deepest Sympathies Sergio Marconi

I have known Peter since his days at Mold Masters in Georgetown. He gave me an opportunity to sell them my product. I was in contact at his other jobs too. When I moved to Guelph we were neighbors and his son and my son were at school together. Peter was always a happy person, always wanted to discuss his many interests and wanted to hear about others. This is a sad lost and my condolences to his family.

I worked with Peter at Flowserve in Brantford for seven years. It was a pleasure working with him during this time. He was always enthusiastic about solving problems and would always come up with a solution. Peter was always glad to help out when his knowledge and expertise was needed. I fondly remember having many enthusiastic conversations with him while working with him on his Green Belt project. I was deeply saddened when I learned of his passing. My deepest condolences to Peter’s family.

I worked with Peter at Laker Energy Products. He was not afraid to think outside of the box when it came to problem solving. I looked up to him as a friend and mentor. One week my vehicle was in the shop and I needed a ride home. Peter drove me almost an hour from Oakville to my parents house north of Rockwood. We shared life stories and he told me about his tractor and how much he loved using it. He also shared with me his love for sandwiches. “A sandwich is a great meal” he would say. I’m deeply moved by this news as he was a genuine man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I worked with Peter at Flowserve Brantford from 2011-2016. We were both Manufacturing Engineers. Peter was very supportive and helped me learn to use Mastercam. I remember how he used to tell me about taking all the back roads to get from Guelph to Brantford in his little black Mazda. He always used to say, "Do you want it done fast or do you want it done right?" He didn't like the singer Adele either as he said that she sounded like a dying cat. After Flowserve closed, we lost touch for a little while then re-connected when he landed at Sandvik. Deepest condolences to the family.

My name is Galdino, I am Peter's co-worker at Sandvik Mexico, we had a beautiful friendship during the time we met and long distance too, he had told me about wanting to go live on a beach in Mexico and I had suggested somewhere. It is very sad for me to hear this fatal news. I send my deepest condolences to his wife and children and to all his loved ones. May God rest his soul.
