In stature, Bob wasn't a large man but he surely cast a large shadow. No doubt when he was in the room because there would be tales, laughter and brilliance. And, rarely, anger but when there was he was advocating for someone else. Strongly. Brilliantly. With determination. My desk was beside his for years at Royal City Realty and he taught me so much...usually with patience! Hard to believe his strong guiding light and that amazing sense of humour is gone. No! not gone...his gift lives on in his family.
Should I share one of my favourite Bob stories? Why not; he would! Bob would wear a kilt on special occasions so I asked him one time what Scots wore under their kilts. Bob: "last time I looked....lipstick"
When I read today of his passing, that memory brought a smile with the tears. Thank you Bob.
